Description

The workshop (2nd part of the MBTI® assessment session) is held in French. A B2 level is mandatory for attendees.

Throughout their career, EPFL alumni often need to assess their personality traits and professional motivations, in order to develop their self-understanding and softskills.

EPFL Alumni will offer the MBTI® (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) assessment from September 2018.
The MBTI® instrument is based on the analytical psychology theory developed by the Swiss physician & psychiatrist Dr. Carl Gustav Jung.

Why make a MBTI® assessment?
The MBTI® instrument is the best known and most trusted personality assessment on the market.
The MBTI profile reveals how we see and interact with the world, giving insight into our motivation and the motivation of others. This provides a strong foundation for personal growth and development, underpinning enhanced personal effectiveness.

How is the MBTI® assessment organized?

The MBTI® assessment session provided by EPFL Alumni consists of two parts:

1/ Online Test: Registred participants pass the test “MBTI® Step I” (30 minutes max).
Timeline for test completion: from Monday 20 August to Friday 14 September included.
It is possible to pass the test in English.

2/ Validation Workshop: They will then participate in the validation workshop led by Yvan Galeuchet (PH’87).
Yvan Galeuchet graduated at EPFL with a Physicist Engineer diploma (MSc) in 1987 and a PhD in Physics in 1991.
He has a rich and broad career path in research at IBM and Paul Scherrer Institute, in management consulting at McKinsey & Company and in finance at Pictet & Cie. In parallel, he got a MBTI® practioner certification in 2003 and got certified as coach C&T (Coach & Team) at the school of Vincent Lenhardt in 2007.
