Description

Technology has transformed the way we do pretty much everything from shopping to socializing. Now, it is turning the financial services industry on its head.  Over the last years, successful fintech startups have emerged, using technology to make it easier for people to invest, make payments and get a loan.  Although traditional financial institutions may be late to the fintech party, they haven’t missed it altogether. Many of them are creating their own technological capability and/or are partnering with fintechs to bring new services to their clients, from digital assets servicing to robo advisory.

Hence, will traditional players and newcomers collaborate or compete, or both at the same time? Will they create clusters? The EPFL and IMD Alumni networks are pleased to invite you to a roundtable with leaders from the Swiss financial services industry to discover how they envision the future.

Programme:

18:30 – Welcome & registration
18:45 – Introductory keynote by Dr. Arturo Bris, Professor of Finance at IMD
19:00 – Roundtable with leaders from the Swiss financial services industry
19:45 – Q&A
20:00 – Cocktail and networking
21:45 – End of the event
