EPFL Alumni U.S. West Coast Chapter and swissnex San Francisco have the pleasure of inviting you to an evening with Professor Marc Gruber, on Monday, October 29th, 2018, at swissnex SF, Pier 17 (map).

Prof. Marc Gruber is a world-leading researcher in the domain of innovation, entrepreneurship and technology commercialization. He is Vice President for Innovation at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), where he also heads the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization. In addition, Marc works as the Deputy Editor for the #1 empirical research journal in management domain, the Academy of Management Journal. He has received multiple “Thought Leader” awards for his breakthrough research and is actively engaged in teaching, consulting, and executive training programs in Europe, U.S. and Asia, and regularly acts as a jury member in start-up and corporate entrepreneurship competitions across Europe.
Prof. Gruber will talk about “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” at EPFL, followed by the overview of his book, “Where to Play, Finding new Growth Opportunities for your Business and Innovation,” co-authored with Sharon Tal.Where to Play” helps entrepreneurs and innovators set a promising strategy, by giving a clear, structured and practical framework – the Market Opportunity Navigator- to better identify, evaluate and focus on the right market opportunities.
