First event of 2017 in Cape Town, South Africa on 21 March
EPFL’s Swiss Polar Institute Antarctic Circumnavigation Expedition (ACE) returns just a couple of days prior to the event. We have an opportunity to visit the ice-breaker, the Akademik Treshnikov, which left Cape Town on December 20 last year and sailed around the South Pole.
The visit will be followed by a drink kindly sponsored by the EPFL Alumni office. At the drink, a representative of EPFL will join us. For those of you who wish to continue afterwards, a networking dinner is organised at one of the restaurants of the Waterfront (at own cost).
Please RSVP by 16 March 2017 by filling in this form.
Please note that the number of spaces to visit the Akademik Treshnikov is limited, and will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.
