The EPFL Alumni Eastern Switzerland association invites you to take part in a guided tour in German of the new Europaallee district in Zurich on Monday, September 21, 2020.
Directly adjacent to Zurich’s main railway station, the district is marked by modern and urban architecture, realized by internationally renowned offices between 2009 and 2020. This part of the city generates new connections and new public spaces in the city centre and has a great mix of uses, accommodating 1’800 students, offering 6’000 workplaces, 400 apartments, 170 hotel beds as well as numerous shops, restaurants and leisure facilities. During the visit, we will discover the historical, urban planning and societal aspects of this new district in the heart of Zurich.
Time: 17h30 for about 2 hours of visit.
Place: At the corner of Lagerstrasse / Sihlpostgasse, in front of the restaurant Più, 8004 Zurich
Language: Explanations will be given in German
The registration fee of 40 CHF per person (30 CHF for contributors) includes the visit and the rich aperitif. The visit alone costs 20 CHF (15 CHF for contributors).

As the number of participants is limited to 25 people, the order of registration will be taken into account.
