From entrepreneurs to industry leaders, investors and scientists, more than 300 people attended the 2018 Startup Champions Seed Night on May 2nd.
Daniel Yanisse (MT’12), CEO and co-founder of Checkr, came from San Francisco to be our keynote speaker. The company offers a record check solution (criminal, driver, education…) to employers for their recruitments. Daniel Yanisse, who graduated from EPFL in 2012, now employs more than 180 persons at Checkr.
19 entrepreneurs pitched at the event, presenting their projects and the capital they are looking to raise. Aspivix, who is developing a new, safe and gentle product dedicated to replace tenaculum in gynecological procedures, won the competition.
