Visit of Wheaton College

 

On September 23rd, 2017, the EPFL Alumni Midwest chapter organized a guided tour of Wheaton College on Saturday. Wheaton College is located in Wheaton, Illinois (about 20 miles West of Chicago) and the event was kindly organized by Danilo Diedrichs (GC’97), professor at Wheaton college. Founded in 1860, it is a highly-ranked, private liberal arts college and graduate school with 2400 undergraduate and 500 graduate students.  The Meyer Science Center on campus is a state-of-the art educational and research facility for Physics, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Geology, Applied Health Science, and Environmental Science, featuring the largest observatory and telescope in the Chicagoland area.
